04.01.2022 A very interesting article calling out the ATO’s and exposing their tricks and secrets in misleading consumers in the open marketplace... Bait and Switch beha...viour is so not acceptable and needs to be stopped. If I have to sit though hotels dot com; kayak dot com; trivago dot com commercials every night on the listing the their claims that they search 100’s of sites to get you the best price, I’m going to go mad ... It is the biggest crock of because they are all owned by either Expedia or Bookings dot com. Our Company, Travel Disrupters is extremely transparent with our pricing and includes ALL fees and taxes on the very first search. Plus we do not charge credit card fees. The issue comes when consumers try to compare prices, they do not know the checkout total amount $$ until they put in their credit card details and it is never the same price as when they first selected their room... this is Bait and Switch at its best! With #TravelDisrupters, we are a Private Travel Network and our members are guaranteed to get the cheapest price, or we refund them 110% the difference with our Best Price Promise. We know we offer the best prices as we do not mark-up our prices to earn a commission on the sale, we aggregate our live inventory, globally (meaning, we don’t sell the consumer inventory based on their searching IP address) and pass it straight through to our members... it’s that simple.
