25.01.2022 New and different light mixed with a touch of mist can make the scene you walk past each day just can produce a scene to photograph.

25.01.2022 What do you like to do on your day off? I like to take photographs. Yes, for enjoyment, I take photographs. Today in Lithgow was the annual Ironfest. While there is many things to see, there are two things that attracts my eye. 1. The love of Steam 2. The Steam Punk The these photographs, in B&W of course to go with the period, express Ironfest for me.

24.01.2022 Autumn in The upper Blue Mountains is worth coming up to see the colours, enjoy a good coffee and spend some time with your family.

22.01.2022 The hallway to the garden. The light is soft and inviting.

19.01.2022 We should rejoice in the world of photography where tones of Black and White come together in harmony. The blacks encourage the shadows, the blacks and whites relish the inclusion of the mid tones of grey and the whites push the highlights with detail.

18.01.2022 In the North Lawson area of the Blue Mountains National Park is another water fall worth a visit. This one is called Fairy Falls.

17.01.2022 While out walking last weekend I came across this little guy sunning himself.

16.01.2022 As a photographer I sometimes have to decide, have I got time to stop and photograph this awesome scene. Sometimes, the job comes first. This morning time was on my side. Remember to stop and enjoy the moment. These two photographs are the same scene, the colour version and the Black and White version. It is how I see things, yes I see colour. Also see blacks, whites and tones of grey.

14.01.2022 It does not matter where we start or finish, we all at sometime have to climb the steps. Today while enjoying a walk in North Lawson I tried to avoid the steps out. In the end it was the steep fire trail I had use to walk out.

13.01.2022 Dante’s Glen in the North Lawson area of the Blue Mountains National Park. When you can travel well worth a visit.

12.01.2022 How a photographer some times see the image. Edges just come to life in a Bit Image.

12.01.2022 Time for a Cassiopeia coffee Katoomba. The best coffee in Katoomba. The light is fantastic too.

11.01.2022 The architectural photographer in me went looking for the Sydney lights with #vividsydney happening and this interesting view presented an opportunity. The photograph I felt was better in black and white #b&w and I knew my Canon 1Dx1 could step up with the technical specs to capture this photograph. With a a little tweaking in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom the final photograph is what you are viewing. #i.c.moses

07.01.2022 Sitting, enjoying a good coffee and the interesting architecture of the window grabs your attention.

06.01.2022 An awesome evening walk with the lights of Sydney buildings as your backdrop. #i.c.moses The things I see through my camera. This photo was taken at the extreme limits of my Canon 1Dx1. It just works, It is very grainy, the light and bin on the left, and the lights of Sydney are blurry while the main subject of the photograph, the walkers are in focus. The distance from camera to subject meant a very shallow deep of field was achieved and this meant, the walkers are in sharp focus.

06.01.2022 In the morning light.

06.01.2022 When you have a thing for trees, a B&W photo is the only way to capture them.

04.01.2022 Some thing I have been playing with Bit Images, not there yet. #blackandwhite, #ICPhotography, #bitimages

04.01.2022 If you need a reason to smile here are three. With the cooler months starting to warm, the late winter flowers are in full bloom.

03.01.2022 The fascination of photographing the design and appeal of architecture and what the architect created for me is exciting. When you sit long enough, your eye and mind get to experience the forever changing light and how it brings to life the built environment around us.

02.01.2022 It was a good morning for a coffee with friends. The light was just to good not to photograph.

01.01.2022 The eye, vision and mind of a photographer never turns. You may see an old timber floor the eye of photographer see colour, tone and shadows.
