24.01.2022 IC Pipes was recently called out to a job in the suburbs of Sydney that required both CCTV and grinding. The CCTV tractor is sent down the pipe first to assess the situation and determine the best tool for the job. In this instance, the appropriate tool was the Grinder. The Grinder can be used for anything from cutting to removing calcium deposits or solidified slurry on the walls of a pipe. This ensures sewers and stormwater drains remain clear and able to flow at full capac...ity. The Grinder is one of many robotic tools that IC Pipes can use for pipe rehabilitation. 16.01.2022 IC Pipes and PMA crews have been busy in Bundaberg, Queensland, this month with our Reactive Jetter/Camera Unit, 4x4 CleverScan CCTV vehicle and Recycler Combo Unit. This project included a full Clean and Inspection to approximately 20km portion of the network including 318 manholes. IC Pipes used our digital asset management system to provide the client with video, reports and shapefiles to show any changes that had to be made to the original mapping.... The network inspection was created using a combination of GIS, CleverScan & CCTV technology. The outputs of this project will assist Council with their condition assessment of the network. 12.01.2022 IC Pipes successfully repaired a stormwater asset in Queensland from an STR Grade 5 to an STR Grade 1. Using the Epros drain packer method, our crew was able to restore the life expectancy of the asset. A fibreglass resin patch is wrapped around a packer which is inserted into the affected pipe, inflated, then deflated, leaving the patch behind.... The work is checked via CCTV camera to ensure the integrity of the stormwater pipe for decades to come. 12.01.2022 The IC Pipes Team recently completed a job for a civil Client at a port in Sydney. IC Pipes were called upon as the job presented a significant hurdle with access pits being smaller than usual.
