24.01.2022 History is priceless! Do you know why I love my job? It’s the CONNECTION! Other than musical connections that my students and I share, we also have emotional connections at a deeper level. ... Did you know that it takes 6- 10 years to master pianistic skill properly? Imagine that each student comes on a weekly basis to see me just one on one, to work on their piano skills. It’s not just about their pianistic abilities that have been learnt, often I also work with them in building their confidence, organisation skills, talking about problem solving, challenges, being positive, stage fright and growth mindset, etc. Recently, I was able to catch- up with a few of my former students. They were one of my earliest batches of students, dated 2002, 2003 & 2004.
