17.01.2022 NEW HOLIDAY PROGRAMME! Back by popular demand, we have just added our Speech and Drama programme to our exciting range of holiday activities at I Can Read. As well as being great fun, speech and drama lessons are really important for your children. Building confidence in speech and drama will help them acquire essential communication skills that will last a lifetime. Speech and drama activities facilitate the learning process by motivating children to think, listen and speak... clearly by participating in activities such as riddles, tongue twisters, role play, mime, games, voice projection, speech exercises, stories and script-writing. Programmes run for 2 hours per day over 5 days, commencing 11th January and 18th January 2021. The Speech & Drama programme is aimed at children 5 to 7 years. Gaining the confidence to write well is a skill that will enhance your child's ability to transform their thoughts and ideas into the written word, and will help them to discover the joy in... writing. Learning to write well will have a positive impact on their learning across all of their subjects in the coming school year.
