19.01.2022 I Can Read classes will be back to normal from Saturday. The centre at 2 Burdett Street has been fully repaired after its encounter with the tornado. A big THANK YOU to all my parents who have been so supportive and uncomplaining, and have delivered their children to venues all over Hornsby!

18.01.2022 Holiday Programme details coming soon, so watch this space if you have a child aged between 4 and 10 years. This January we are offering courses in Speech and Drama, Creative Writing, and an intensive Ready for School programme for 4 and 5 year olds. The courses will be both educational and fun, will give those brains a kick start ready for the new term, and provide parents with a welcome three hour break every morning or afternoon for a week!

14.01.2022 We are rapidly approaching the last term before school starts in January. Do you know a child about to start school? I still have a few class spaces available during school hours on week days. In a few short weeks your child will be ready to learn to read, concentrate, and be confident about going to school. Classes are small and expectations are high, but the atmosphere is relaxed, playful and encouraging.

08.01.2022 Term 2 has been busy with activity! It has been wonderful to see everyone making such great progress, and to hear the feedback from their teachers at school. Children on the I Can Read scheme suddenly start to jump levels! Now is the time to enrol those children starting school next year, 2016. The sooner they start, the quicker they progress, and the better equipped they are to enter kindy with confidence and skills.

04.01.2022 The Monday tornado may have closed the Centre but it hasn't closed I Can Read! We will be running classes as usual, just keep an eye on your text messages for venue updates.
