17.01.2022 What an honour it is to share La Nav's thanks to supporters of ICCA through the years. La Na came to live at Light of Hope Cambodia in 2000, after his mother had died when he was only 6 months old and then his father passed away from Malaria in 1998. Take the time to read La Nav's own words of thanks -- English follows his khmer words. Thankyou La Na, we are all proud of the man you have become. Congratulations!
16.01.2022 BUILD PREPARATIONS Our ICCA builders, Doug Hanna from New Zealand and Steve Jelovac from Australia are in the Philippines preparing for the Big Build 2019. Doug and Steve have been involved in many mission projects around the world all through Europe, Asia, Africa and the South Pacific, building for Gods Kingdom and sharing the Gospel along the way. Are you registered? https://www.iccaustralia.org/get-involved/big-build-2019... Please keep Doug in your prayers as he heads to South Africa on another Mission project.

10.01.2022 Super Sunday is on at Big Camp! And we've had a tiny bit of rain, but so far so good. Please pray that the rest of the afternoon will be fine so we can have fun... showcasing the fantastic ministries, organisations and groups that work within our conference (and further afield) :) With Adventures of Riley Madison, Faith FM, Asian Aid Australia, ADRA Australia, Avondale College of Higher Education, Adventist Volunteers- South Pacific, Amelia Magazine, Unleash Fit Living, Restore One Charity, The Incredible Journey, 3ABN Australia Inc, International Children's Care Australia, James and Rose Sauces and Condiments, Faith Tours
05.01.2022 Each year this small group of men from the Riverlands region volunteer their time and resources at Light of Hope Children's village, Cambodia. This year they created a very long verandah, joining the bakery, canteen and library buildings. This will give the students a great undercover area to eat and meet, protected from the sun and the rain. Thanks so much for the difference that you make each year guys! Your work is SO appreciated. 03.01.2022 K A T E B R O W N "Having the privilege to share with my children the experience of life in impoverished nations has been life changing for our family. We live life now with gratefulness and simplicity. It reduces your desire for materialistic needs. Seeing the joy of other children who have nothing but just the pleasure of simple things was impacting. My sons loved the opportunity to be able to do something hands on and practical to serve. The Big Build gives a practical... way that kids can really help others. My sons would like to continue to do mission trips though out their lives, using whatever skill or talent they decide to pursue. There is room for everyone, whether tradesman, teachers, nurses, housewives, students just bring your skills and they will find a place to be used. I have the added privilege of working as a program manager in the Philippines which is the destination of the ICCA 2019 BIG BUILD. Philippines is a small country with over 80 million people, many struggling in poverty. I think every Aussie family should do a big build or missions trip!" https://www.iccaustralia.org/get-involved/big-build-2019 #iccaus #bigbuild2019 #philippines #heartsformission See more
01.01.2022 A fun video from Kayla who came with Great Southern Grammar on their Leavers trip in Dec 2017. Love it Kayla and what a buzz it is having these students come from GSG each year and invest in communities in Cambodia.
