24.01.2022 Happy 2nd birthday young Mali. Full disclosure, his mummy has worked here before (and might again) and his Aunty "Omi" (Naomi) still works here. His mummy came to us with an idea of a cake with some of his beloved toy cars. Aunty Omi got creative and smashed out this awesome cake. Rainbow base and choc fudge brownie scoops on top, attention grabbing decorations on top including some Hotwheels cars. No only do we love how this cake turned out, we are proud that Mali's mum and family thinks highly enough of her old workplace to entrust is with the honor of making this cake. Thank you :)

20.01.2022 Heads-up everyone, I'm off on a mini break next week. Instead of closing on the usual Monday, we will actually be closed Mon-Wed (26-28 Oct). The good news is we are open all weekend, 11.30am to 8pm. So you can still get your fix of our yummy ice cream before we close for a few days. Have a great weekend everyone :)

19.01.2022 Excuse the non-shop related post, but this one is for those of you who follow my musical exploits. And let's face it, they have been few and far between thanks to COVID. But guess what, we are back into it, with our first public live performance in ages happening on Dec 5th. I can't wait to get back on stage in front of a crowd. 17.01.2022 We will be closed today (Wed 18/11/20). I'm afraid my old sports and motorbike injuries are not being kind to me today. And there's a lot of rain about, so it likely to be quiet in the shop today anyway. I just hope this rain is helping to battle the fire on K'gari.

15.01.2022 On behalf of all the staff here at Ice Cream Delite, we'd like to wish everyone a Merry Xmas :) Note we are only open until 5pm today (Xmas Eve). We are going to try again at trading on Xmas Day 1pm-5pm. We tried it last year and it started well, but we pulled the pin when the heavens opened up big time. Let's see how it pans out this year :)

14.01.2022 It was super quiet in the shop last week when the State of Origin was on, so will be closing at 5pm today, and again next Wednesday (11th and 18th Nov). Enjoy the game everyone, and go the Blues :)

14.01.2022 We don't post photos of every ice cream cake we make, just the ones that are in some way different. When Lea approached us about the possibility of an ice cream cake, she had one request - could we make it gluten free? Not only were we able to do that, the end result had her smiling from ear to ear and double checking I'd taken a photo of it for social media :) All cakes are custom made to order, and working around your dietary requirements is no problem here at Ice Cream Delite.

13.01.2022 EDIT: The matter has been resolved, I've spoken to the people involved and the lesson has been learned. To whoever decided to destroy the fairy lights outside the shop overnight, we have you on camera. You have until we close tonight at 8pm to contact the shop and offer to pay for the damage or I will share the footage all over the internet.
