As the Events and Relationship Assistant you will be instrumental in driving their corporate volunteer program ensuring families have a meal or a clean house, you will be assisting on all fundraising campaigns and events (including their signature e...vents) and processing all donations and receipting them in a timely manner. Parade is going ahead, and we need our volunteers to help pull off such a fantastic season! Parade will be held on Saturday 6 March 2021. We’re transforming the Sydney Cricket Ground into a stunning and sparkling showcase of LGBTQI+ culture and community. We are also working on bringing you more events that are Covid safe, please keep an eye out for any emails going o...ut and keep checking our website for any new updates. 2021 VOLUNTEER APPLICATION PROCESS This year you will need to create a volunteer profile before you can apply for a shift. This profile will stay active for 2021 and future seasons, therefore you will not need to fill out your details again, great right?! Once you fill it out all you need to do is log into our website with your email address and you can select shifts as they pop up. No need to re-enter any other information and you will be able to access your profile at any time and see all your past and upcoming shifts. You will also get to upload a profile picture which you can change whenever you like! For Medical or Workshop volunteers, you will need to be approved before you can access the available shifts, this is to ensure all qualifications are verified before shifts are filled. Due to Covid contact tracing, each volunteer will need to individually sign up. Every volunteer will need to attend briefing sessions leading up to events that you are registered for. This is absolutely mandatory as we will be training you in Covid safe practices that we will be enforced at every event to ensure the safety for our volunteers, staff, participants and our community. All our volunteer roles will be different to previous seasons thanks to Covid, please ensure your read the Position Descriptions before applying. Returning and leadership volunteers are encouraged to apply. The safety of all involved in our festival is our priority. We have been working closely with NSW Health and other government agencies in our planning to ensure our volunteers, staff and patrons are safe at these events.
