Paul had lost his handset over a decade ago when he accidentally dropped it onto a sandy rise in remote New South Wales. There it endured harsh summers of 50+ temperatures, sandstorms, frosts and torrential rainfall. Eleven years later, he found it and remembered it being lost there all those years ago.
