24.01.2022 Yeah! It's Friday. Did you know we design wine labels also? Not only did we design these wine labels for Blue Rock Wines we also photographed these bottles and many more from their range. We have a good understanding of the printing process. Also we understand the 'embellishments' that can be applied to the label. Like hot foiling, varnishes, hi-build varnish, embossing and much more.... Label stock is also very important to give the label that quality feel, especially when a label is white. Adhesive paper like Poem is very popular because of how white it is and how it feels. Pretty sure Beerenberg products are printed on this material. 18.01.2022 We created this icon for The City of Salisbury’s beautiful new building called ‘The Hub’. We took a photo though the fence while the building was under construction using a mobile phone. Then the illustration was created using our specialised design software. Voila!

17.01.2022 Happy Monday Everyone! Today we wanted to show you how we superimposed an electronic version of an Olive Oil label onto a stock photo of a bottle. We needed a photo of the EVOO product for a catalogue we were designing and didn't have time to do a photo-shoot, so we just made one in Photoshop.... First we sourced a stock image that was the same as the actual product, then we applied the electronic version of the label to the bottle and applied a 5% transparency. Then we added a shadow to the right side of the label, next we created a highlight for the left side and another subtle highlight off centre to the right. To finish off we then added a fake shadow to the base of the bottle and there you have it! 16.01.2022 Happy Monday everyone! This week wanted to showcase a project we did for the City of Salisbury. The council had invited a group of Chinese delegates to visit Adelaide to promote Technology Park with these Investment Brochures.... Icon Graphic Design was privileged to have created a series of brochures (just like the one presented in this video). The City of Salisbury needed two versions of each brochure, one in English and one in Chinese. 11.01.2022 Happy Friday everyone. Yippee! We thought that this week we would show you a branding package we have been working on. This package consisted of a logo design/re-fresh, business card design, product packaging design, flyer design, website design, vehicle signage design and product photography. We also totally print managed this project.... We started working with True Blue back in early 2000 and the previous owner sold the business in 2017. We were fortunate enough to be a part of the re-branding, which started with a re-fresh to the logo, new look packaging and as you can see, so much more. We started the project with a new logo design, the first slide below shows what they wanted but we 'diplomatically' suggested we need to have something better, to reach its full potential in the market place. 03.01.2022 Happy Friday everyone! This week we want to show you the solution we came up with for a packaging problem that Woodside Cheese had. Originally Woodside Cheese had a watchband shape adhesive label that wrapped around the Goat Curd tub. When the label was first applied it looked great, but once it was handled for a short amount of time it would completely stick to the container and loose its appeal.... We came up with a solution to the problem by designing a new cardboard sleeve which simply slipped over the tub which also reduced production time and it looked great.
