25.01.2022 I love doors and door hardware ( a little fetish of mine!). Here are some interesting entries and doors. Check out the folding door - very cool!

24.01.2022 This is a great idea. Get that tropical feel with Breezway louvres plus improved thermal and acoustiv properties - win, win! https://www.breezway.com.au/breezway-announces-new-seconda/

24.01.2022 Exterior paint is going on. Coming together now. Thanks to Auto Paint and Trade for the Taubmans paint. The weather boards are James Hardie Scyon Linea and they look fantastic next to the recycled bricks. Thanks to Pat from JH and Riverina Plasterworks for the supply of the boards. We are loving it.

24.01.2022 I love the green walls with the different colours through them. My only question with the really high ones is how easy are they to maintain? Great idea when your view is to a fence. Hopefully you get some inspiration thanks to Houzz.com.au. Enjoy the sunshine!

24.01.2022 Saw this in a clients workshop. Just a couple of small flanges for you!!! Makes the gate I welded up on the weekend look a little light.

23.01.2022 How cool is this. I was in the roof of the Batlow RSL club today and was told about an old projector room up there. Had to check it out - through a little hatch. Its a very cool piece of history.

23.01.2022 This says it all. :)

23.01.2022 Finished! Located on the side of Willans Hill, this home was designed to take in the magnificent views to the east. Separate pods housing the bedrooms and master bedroom are joined by glass links and allow the family to come together at the hub of the home while still providing the children and adults with their own spaces. Magnificent views over eastern Wagga and bushland at the rear of the home ensure a brilliant view is enjoyed wherever you are in the home. 23.01.2022 Sorry to all our clients who have called recently only to hear beeping when the phone rings out. We only just realised that since changing over to the NBN our messaging service had stopped. It has been turned back on so you can now leave a message. Speak to you soon! The Icono Team :)

22.01.2022 Happy Australia Day everyone!

22.01.2022 2 things happen to all the waste paper we generate in the office. It either gets collected by Kurrajong for recycling, or it becomes a weed mat in my garden! A thick layer of leaf mulch over and it works beautifully. #iconobuildingdesign #garden #recycling

21.01.2022 As part of our commitment to the environment, we use biodegradable coffee pods. Great coffee delivered straight to our door and with with a nice little note. As you are stressing today, remember these words, and get yourself a coffee! Thanks #urbanbrewpods #urbanbrew #coffee

20.01.2022 Its been a while since you have heard from us! Sorry about that. This is an interesting product. Funcitonal and a bit of luxury from Brightgreen.

20.01.2022 Steel framework up on the Kurrajong Admin building extension. Keep an eye out for when driving down Lord Baden Powell Drive. #wagga #kurrajong #construction #building

19.01.2022 Loving our timber lining boards to the outdoor area. Recycled Messmate timber milled into lining boards from Timber and Rose in Melbourne. These are unfinished but will probably Tung oil them.

19.01.2022 This is an easy visual to understand why building orientation is so important. You can change where you put your building, rooms and windows but you cant change the sun. Great photos!

18.01.2022 14 Wooden St For Sale. Give Mathew Longmore at Raine & Horne a call if you want this one. An extension and renovation design we did a while back that looks as good today as the day it was completed.

18.01.2022 No travel needed! The conference is coming to us!

16.01.2022 How beautiful is this driveway at a property I just visited?

15.01.2022 39b Plumpton Road Our plastering is just about done and cant be happier with the feel of the interior. Thanks so much to Riverina Plasterworks and Luke and his install team from Inland Plastering. Been so good to work with all these guys. You have had to put up some of our more unique elements. From supply to install nothing has been a hassle and the finish is great. Thanks Riverina Plaster Works !! #waggawagga #newhome #riverinaplasterworks #inlandplastering

15.01.2022 This is a bit of mesmerising. Im sure this would be a similar situation in Australia and all developed countries. http://flowingdata.com//12/15/a-day-in-the-life-of-americ/

14.01.2022 Within this ever-changing context, there are attempts to maintain a connection to the increasingly fading remnants of Vietnams built cultural heritage. Bamboo, traditionally regarded as a poor mans material, has emerged as a symbol of Vietnamese culture, offering new directions for contemporary architecture. A M A Z I N G ! Check out this article by Brickworks Building Products... https://brickworksbuildingproducts.com.au//new-bamboo-eve/

13.01.2022 An interesting time lapse video from Intrim. See what happens to moisture resistant MDF when exposed to water. Highlights the need to seal MDF or to use timber skirtings and architraves - still worth sealing the bottom and back prior to installation.

13.01.2022 The old girl died! Had to replace our laser tape and looks like technology has gotten a bit smaller and thankfully heaps cheaper! #leicageosystems #sitemeasure #buildingdesign

13.01.2022 H A P P Y E A S T E R ! !

12.01.2022 Something more exciting than the last post! Check out these modern free standing baths - very nice! I want to use these in bathroom and ensuite designs. ASC Designer Bathrooms http://www.acsbathrooms.com.au/catalogsearch/result

09.01.2022 Something positive to reflect on at the end of the year thanks to the guys at Future Crunch. We wish everyone a fantastic Christmas and wonderful new year - 2020 (wow that sounds weird!)

09.01.2022 How satisfying is it to see something you planted nearly a decade ago as a tiny seedling, become a majestic tree.

09.01.2022 This is an interesting article. Scientists working on how to measure our reactions and feelings towards architecture. We all know we get different feelings when experiencing different environments so we will all be able to relate to a lot of this.

09.01.2022 22 of the Worlds Greatest Architecture Projects selected by Time magazine. There are some very interesting and spectacular projects in this list. Im impressed with the form of The new King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture and just love the roof on the Louvre Abu Dhabi. Check it out Courtesy of ArchDaily.

08.01.2022 Did any tradies forget a ladder at the Kooringal Mall yesterday? I have one that was left leaning against the roof at 9 last night - Im pretty sure no one is stranded on the roof! If its yours, give me a all in the office. 69226388 Cheers Rod

07.01.2022 Anyone want to buy a beautiful modern unit a short walk from Wagga CBD? Heres your chance. 3 units in the development - great designs! Check them out on the Professionals Wagga website.

07.01.2022 Sunday session at Meccanico. Awesome!

06.01.2022 39b Plumpton Road A big thanks to our bricklayer Shane Ball for his work on our fireplaces and finishing our piers. We love your work... and your singing too! Thanks it looks fantastic!

05.01.2022 This is good news. We are heading in the right direction.

04.01.2022 Some beautiful examples of Brazilian residential Architecture all featuring timber. Very similar to Australian modern design but looking at this collection, generally a bit more restrained on size which I love to see. The list compiled by Archdaily.com

04.01.2022 "Can you have double glazed louvers?" I used to answer, "not if you want it to look good!". Well check these out. While they arent exactly double glazed, its a pretty good step forward. We love Breezeway louvres. Ive had them in every house ive owned including the new one and we have them in the office too. Congratulations Breezway on your award. #Breezway

03.01.2022 Here's your tip for the day! Nothing to do with architecture but may change your life. I just found out that on your smart phone (mines an IPhone) when typing, to move the cursor you can just click and hold the space bar then slide your finger back and forth!! So much easier without your finger in the way of the text! I know its 1st world problem, but i hope this makes your life just a little easier.

02.01.2022 Steel work and trusses up on the Kurrajong addition. The scale is spot on. #stephenlawrenceconstruction #mckelviewelding #kurrajongwagga #waggaarchitecture #hudsonsframing

01.01.2022 Slab is down for the Geoff Reid Charity House in Boorooma. Thanks to everyone involved!
