12.01.2022 When you are sitting in your isolated distance education schoolroom teaching your own kids, many miles from anywhere, you can feel so alone and overwhelmed. I h...ave been there and I still feel that way sometimes, but one of the many things that ICPA has done for me, since my very first involvement, is to help me realise that I am not alone, in fact there are people out there who understand how I am feeling and have my back. What is more, ICPA advocates on behalf of geographically isolated distance education families to improve this educational experience for us all, both as parents and for our precious children and for that I am truly grateful. #FacesofICPA See more

Its their hard working mum, though, who rules the world of education for these children. Mum provides the full time supervision and with it, all the roles of a teachers aide and sometimes of a teacher (following the materials provided).... That call continues, this time the focus is on NSW, QLD and VIC but the message is the same. State and Federal ICPA Councils continue to advocate for a consistent approach across Australia, so boarding students can access education....
