24.01.2022 What is the WA government thinking, this decision to close the residential college doesn't make any sense.

19.01.2022 The discussions that Federal Council have with Government pays off. This two year extension of In Home Care transitional provisions is a great way to end 2019. Gives our carers some breathing space and families peace of mind. Thank you Minister Tehan.
19.01.2022 Thank you to Tasmania ICPA President Kate Thompson for representing our state at this weekend's meeting in Melbourne with ICPA Federal and State President's and representatives at the Melbourne Grammar School. This is where rural and remote education issues from each state are brought forward in a forum before state conferences begin for the year. An excellent opportunity to brainstorm and gain momentum with like minded leaders.
18.01.2022 Please if this is going to effect you let Jane Howlett know. If your child is or will be going to rosny college check out how they will navigate their way.

16.01.2022 If you send your child to a private boarding school you can get drought assistance, but not for the state's three public boarding ag high schools. Why?

06.01.2022 Parents of Distance Education children face the tyranny of distance and reliable communications right across Australia. ICPA both State and Federally advocate for equity of access and now the whole of Australia could be facing the same issue. Well done to Federal President Alana McFarlane Moller on detailing what so many families face every day while educating their children.
05.01.2022 Wishing ICPA (Aust) all the very best over the next couple of days at the Adelaide Oval for two big days of Federal Conference.

03.01.2022 Tasmania ICPA is disappointed that the Federal ICPA Conference will not be held in Hobart this year however we do realise that this is the best possible decision considering the circumstances. We wish ICPA Aust - Isolated Children's Parents' Association all the very best with their endeavours sourcing a viable, alternative option.

01.01.2022 Getting ready to leave secondary school is an exciting time, but it can also have its challenges - especially in 2020. If you, or someone you know, is about to ...leave school and needs support with their education, training and work options, check out the National Careers Institute’s School Leavers Information Kit, ‘Your Career: What’s next for you?’, on the Your Career website.
