14.01.2022 The retune of digital TV stations has started in our area today. (Stations broadcast from Shepparton - Mt Major - Goulburn Valley transmitter are currently down) The retune activity will cause temporary outages to most TV channels today or over the next few days (work won't be finished in our area until the 12th). 05.01.2022 Find Your Android Phone When you get a new android phone there's a few setting you need to enable to ensure that if you loose your phone you can get your phone back or at least erase all the data from it. 1. Enable location services (Settings->Location services->Access to my location) 2. Enable android device manager (Settings->Security->Device Admins -> Allow android device manager to lock or erase lost a device)(can also be changed in the Google settings app) 3. Set de...fault storage to SD card (Settings->Storage->Default Storage Location->SD Card) 4. Setup a lock screen (Settings->Security->Lock Screen) Now if/when you loose your phone, you need to sign into your Google account and then search for "Find My Phone" Your top search result should be a map showing the location of your phone (***NOTE a message will show on the phone that it has been "located").
