21.01.2022 Australia Post is for the people. The people who care about their world. The people who like to share. And for the people who care about others. Were for the people who need the little things, like stamps and pens and paper. Were for the people who love sending presents. The people who like to plan ahead. Were for the people who remember their nieces birthday. And the people who send thank you notes. Were for the people who like to make new friends. And the people who ...dont mind queuing for an old one. Were for the people who like to say hello. And those that just want to get the job done. Were for the people in a rush. Were for the people who need to transfer money. The people who open their parcel before they leave the shop. Were for the people who want to connect with their community. The people who love to chat and share local news. Were for the people who are proud of their country. And the people who want to connect with their friends overseas. Were for the people who need a new passport photo. And for the people who want Dollars and Euros and Francs and Yen for their holiday. Were for the people who need to pick up a few things. Were for the people who need Post-its and Postpaks. Were for the people who need a lifeline. Were for the people who like first name terms and a place they can trust. Were for the people weve known since they were kids. We are The Peoples Post Office. IDALIA LICENSED POST OFFICE

18.01.2022 The COVID-19 (coronavirus) is having a significant impact on the lives of all Australians. At Idalia Post Office, we’re doing everything we can to continue delivering parcels and letters as well as providing retail and payment services in our store. As we do this, we need to protect the health and wellbeing of all our customers and team members.... Like other businesses, we’re asking our team members to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness. When you are in our Post Office, please try to keep social distancing wherever possible and if you are feeling unwell, please don’t visit our store. To minimise risks to everyone, all parcels be it at a post office or at a residence will no longer require a signature for delivery or collection. Our team will continue to record your name and delivery on our handheld device. The impact to international logistics is also causing some delivery delays. Australia Post is working with its partners to move items as quickly as possible and appreciate your patience. Any ongoing delivery or Post Office disruptions will be posted on the Australia Post website, so please check there for updates. If you do have any problems or concerns please contact the Australia Post customer service team online. We are proud to be providing essential support and we will continue to do our best to serve ous community during this difficult time.

16.01.2022 AUSTRALIA POST HAS MADE SIGNIFICANT CHANGES to help process Parcels and to deliver them to you faster. Current volumes have exceeded previous busiest periods and Australia Post facilities are processing close to 2 million parcels a day. This heavy volume combined with significantly reduced flights and the impact of social distancing in facilities has led to delays.... To adapt to these pressures, Australia Post has made the following changes: - Processing facilities are operating 24/7 - 15 new or repurposed processing facilities have been added to increase capacity. - 8 extra freighter flights have been added within Australia so Australia Post now have 17 dedicated air freighter flights per day. - Hundreds of casual staff have been recruited into the network and contact centres. For those sending or waiting on international parcels, please be aware that there are significant delays to many destinations due to limited flights and government restrictions. Impacts to the USA, New Zealand, Germany and France are significant with severe delays being experienced. Where Airline capacity does become available, Australia Post continue to prioritise Express Parcels. A number of destinations also have full-service suspensions where Australia Post are unable to move Parcels due to airport closures or major delivery issues. Australia Post understands that these international and local impacts are frustrating, however your posties, Delivery drivers, Post Office team members and contact centre staff are doing their best, so thank you for your understanding. As a reminder, Australia Post’s tracking tool provides you with the most accurate guidance on estimated delivery dates and advise you of any delays while your parcel is in transit. To get the most from the post and to stay up to date on all service impacts, please visit the Australia Post website www.auspost.com.au Thank you for your patience Your team at Australia Post
