15.01.2022 Public housing in France- Les Arena de Picasso, architect Ricardo Bofell, completed 1985 - part of the Villes Nouvelles policy the French government has adopted for the Paris suburbs: entire cities have been created from scratch to solve the congestion in the city centre and to promote orderly growth, avoiding the creation of mere suburbs.

14.01.2022 Trident appartments are finished and on the market. Situated in Sandringham, a bayside suburb of Melbourne, this four story mixed used development has 8 appartments over three levels and a ground floor retail tenancy. A central light well was utilised to overcome the challenges of a narrow 400m2 block.

01.01.2022 The Queensland Department of Housing and Public Works engaged Consolidated Properties Group in conjunction with Hutchinson Builders to deliver four Social Housing apartment complexes as part of its Queensland Housing Strategy 2017. The first two completed projects are five storey complexes located in Windsor (20 units) and Wooloowin (13 units). Both sites had pre existing development approvals. idearchitecture was engaged to redesign the buildings as Social Housing projects to comply with the Gold Standard of the Livable Housing Design guidelines.
