07.01.2022 New exterior work at Tennyson begins with matrix cladding. Due to coastal influence and a high wind area we need to take extra steps to make sure the painted finish is long-lasting and hard-wearing. We use moisture resistant fibre cement filling compounds and seal the cladding with a primer coat of dulux weathershield. ... We then refill the fastener holes and any dents/defects to the cladding to neutralise any moisture problems and control durability performance. We then paint the cladding three more coats for a total of four coats with Dulux Weathershield. 03.01.2022 The Gilberton job comes to a close this week, The team adds the final coat of paint on the front fence and restores the nearly, 90 year old gate, back to its original glory. The eye catching front door leads through the hallway and past the modern bathroom to the kitchen/dining room. Dark purple cabinets compliment the black tile floor. The main bedroom and walk in wardrobe is the stand out though, as it has been painted with pearlescent 'Duchess Satin' Porter's Paints with a strié decorative effect.
