04.01.2022 What a beauty For the first time ever, volunteers on Bribie Island have managed to tag an elusive nesting loggerhead turtle. This gorgeous girl was found wand...ering on Rickman Parade, near Woorim Beach - her rescuers suspect she slid down the wrong side a sand dune after laying her eggs. With the help of marine scientist Mike Howe she was tagged and returned to the ocean. The Bribie Island Turtle Trackers hope monitoring her movements will reveal more about the island's turtle population. : Diane Oxenford
