Stream 1: Trance like diving into the depths of consciousness with hand percussion, eyes closed, beat guided connectedness. This class emphasises the benefits of meditation via a different approach. For those who find meditation a challenge, have a runaway mind or are just too fidgety- this could be exactly what you’re looking for. This class is not about technique or theory, it is about involvement. A way inward, to enjoy the benefits of meditation whilst focusing on cognitive calm whilst enjoying some musical exercise. Warning: exhilaration may follow Requirements: None, but a positive mental attitude is highly advantageous Stream 2: For those wanting to approach the heart of the drum kit: the snare drum. This class solely focuses on extended rudimentary drum exercises with a military marching Drum Corp aspect. Extended snare drum exercises are studied, pulled apart, analysed and performed to help build on stamina and consistency. This WILL push the envelope in its approach to accelerating snare drum proficiency. This module is highly dependent on metronomic guidance. It does not exclude the use of bass drum which is worthy of mentioning. This module borrows heavily from the aforementioned module retaining a heavy component of meditation but requires the discipline of technique, patience, dedication and commitment.
