17.01.2022 The IEEE Antenna & Propagation - Microwave Theory & Techniques Vic. Chapter Chapter's next technical seminar is on "Lens antennas: Fundamentals and present applications". The presenter is an IEEE AP Distinguished Lecturer, Professor Oscar Quevedo-Teruel from the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden. This seminar will held this coming Monday the 24th of June 2019 (5:30 pm refreshments for 6 pm - 7 pm lecture). We are planning to conduct an IEEE Student Officer Training Workshop in couple of weeks time. The aim of this workshop is to provide an overview of IEEE student student branch officer roles, Victorian Section operations and to discuss the challenges faced by student branches. The workshop will take approximately 2 hours. Date: Friday, 31st of March Time: 5.30pm for 6pm start Location: RMIT Building 80 Level 7 Room 7 You will get an opportunity to meet IEEE Victorian Section officers as well as the past student branch officers. These must be Wearable Technology projects which use IoT and can be showcased on the catwalk. The project "owners" can be individuals or teams. They can wear their own designs on the runway or we can find models to wear their designs, if they prefer. Thanks!

The Paper Contest aims to recognize technical, written and verbal communication skills of IEEE student members in the Region. ... 03.01.2022 URGENT!!! IEEE YP group are needing 1 or 2 volunteers to support IEEE YP networking event. Volunteer will get a free ticket to attend this event in Melbourne Convention Centre.
