We will be demonstrating some of the existing data centres reliability models and how to build a SLRD from scratch. Our presenter is Dr Eehui Lim. Eehui received her PhD degree and Bachelor degree in Electrical and Computer System Engineer with honours from the Monash University. She is currently the Ma...naging Director of a small Australian start-up company Reelion and she provides reliability solutions at Powertechnic. Prior to that, she managed a team of engineers at an Australian network design and management company, Visionstream, to operate major telecommunication power networks in Australia. She is also an active volunteer for the IEEE and she had led the Women in Engineering team in securing a grant from the Australian Government to conduct a wearable electronics fashion runway and hands-on laboratory during the 2015 National Science Week. She is one of the co-authors of the paper 380/400V DC Powering Option, An Independent Review which won the Best Paper Award in the International Telecommunications Energy Conference (INTELEC), presented in Amsterdam, 2011. IEEE PES VIC Chapter has organised the opportunity for ...Victorian students to disseminate their ideas through the 3 minute presentations competition. Participants are allocated 3 minutes to present their ideas and innovations to solve a problem on power and energy sector, with major focus on (but not limited to): Power system network operation, control and stability Renewable energy system design and integration Power system protection Distributed energy resources, virtual power plant and microgrids Power electronics, machines and drives Energy efficiency and demand response Communication technologies for smart grid and Internet of Energy Big data and cyber security for smart grid Interested participants are required to register an Expression of Interest (EoI) by 28th February ( ) as in the following. Participation will be confirmed by 6th March, 2020 and further details on the preparation of slides will be emailed. Confirmed participants are required to submit the slides by no later than 23rd March (5 p.m.).
