25.01.2022 What an amazing evening our 2019 Gala turned out to be! The glamorous parents of Ivanhoe East Primary school certainly know how to celebrate in style. A night to remember... so much community spirit.

24.01.2022 Let us introduce you to one of our School families, The Mellings - Ros, Andy, Phoebe (year 3) , Ollie (year 1) and little 3 yr old Archie. Archie was struck down with a rare mitochondrial disease, ECHS1d/Leigh's Syndrome, at 13 months of age. He lost all abilities over night. There is no treatment or cure, however, ground breaking gene therapy trials in the USA are providing hope that the family has been waiting for - hope for a longer and better quality of life for Archie. F...undraising is underway to keep the trials going and to ultimately get Archie there for treatment. The Archie's Embrace- Cure ECHS1d Gala will be held on October 12th at The Regal Ballroom in Northcote. Tickets include a 3 course meal plus drinks, live and silent auctions, a live band and more. 21.01.2022 Thank you to the team at Miles Real Estate for sponsoring our 2019 Gala. Brad Pearce did an amazing job MCing our event and keeping us entertained throughout the evening. Also thanks to Stewart Oldmeadow and to Brad for conducting our live auction. The 10 Live auction items generated $7500 which will be put towards new class room furniture for our children.

This twilight event will include a scrumptious sausage sizzle, supplied by East Ivanhoe Grocers, serving sausages and drinks as well as Gourmet Sausages with the famous IEPS Kitchen Tomato Relish. If you love the IEPS Kitchen products, as sold at our School Fairs, then pick up a jar of the Tomato Relish or Sauce at the Sausage Sizzle stand ...on the night. Limited supply! This thoughtful gesture was so not to clash with the Gala being organised by The Melling Family, a fundraiser to support urgent medical research to help battle the currently incurable disease their little boy Archie suffers from (please see links attached to support). 16.01.2022 Not only did we dance the night away at our school gala, most importantly we raised an impressive $34,000 in profit to be put towards improving our school facilities and improving our children's education.
