22.01.2022 Just some of the issues we have dealt with this year so far. 1. Client tried to replaced batteries in there keypad (by using a hammer we think ). 2. Owner installed a small 7ah battery in a solar motor and wasn't sure as to why it kept failing ( note the battery terminals were force down to hold the ring terminals in place ). 3 "it's always been like that". Gate pushed over by a "dropbear"?... 4. Home owners way of stopping the gate opening to far. And it failed once the motor was on manual. The gate went over the screw, out of the rollers, before crashing down and landing in the garden. But luckily the motor we fitted was OK. 5. Tenants told the landlord the gate was working properly. Failed to mention that they had driven into it first. 6. One of our commercial clients called say the gate wasn't closing once timer had turned off. We attended and found the reason why. Blocking of the safety beam (10 points for the intuitive use of nature). 7. gate was not working on auto or manual. Found that the battery (dated 2016) had exploded and leaked acid into the motor housing. Ceasing the motor. See more

14.01.2022 Just remember if you have lost power (like us in Bonogin), all Gates and garage doors have a manual over-ride function. Most garage door motors have a pull cable to release the motor from the door. All gates motors have a manual over-ride system. Normally this involves the use of a key to allow. If you have any problems /questions, please contact us for assistance.
