The recent changes from the NSW Government Liquor and Gaming allowing the sale alcohol does not apply to IGA Tocumwal. The government website quotes "the exemption does not apply to packaged liquor licensees such as bottle shops these businesses are subject to their normal Good Friday closure".

17.01.2022 We would like to thank the Tocumwal community for supporting IGA during this difficult and uncertain time. Due to the COVID19 pandemic, some suppliers have reduced production on some of their lines. This means that in some cases certain products will be limited to certain sizes and varieties. Unfortunately, this is out of our control, whilst our warehouse supplier is endeavouring to rectify the problem and we are trying to sources alternative products.... Any products from overseas are being very slow to come through and may be in short supply. On a lighter note exciting news it has been 15 years since our first extension and we are now finding the original configuration of the store is not working as it should and we have decided to a major overhaul of the layout of the store. This will be happening over the next few months. The first change is the new health food/gluten free isle which is now located between the fruit and vegetable section and the milk frig. If you have any problems finding your favourite products, our staff are happy to lend you a hand. Stay safe.

16.01.2022 We are very proud of our team members for challenging themselves to do 10,000 steps a day for 30days to support adults and children living with Cerebral Palsy To help the teams raise money pop down to March’s IGA on Saturday the 26th September and enjoy a sausage in bread. All proceed will be donated to this wonderful cause. Hope to see you there.

16.01.2022 Our team members, suppliers and transport partners have been working hard to deliver products to our store and we are stocking shelves as quickly as possible. Please be aware that we are unsure what items will be short supplied due to warehouse availability. To continue to allow everyone the opportunity to purchase staple items, purchase limits are currently in place on all grocery/freezer and refrigerated items to 2 items per customers and some products will be limited to 1... per customer. (this may be subject to change and other items may be added) We are aware that there are some people in our community such as the elderly and the vulnerable who are missing out on essential items and ask you to be considerate to others. We are grateful to our team members and suppliers who are working tirelessly to do the best job possible under the circumstances, and we thank you for your understanding and support. Please continue to respect and support our team members, particularly if a product isn’t available or the checkout queues are longer than normal.

16.01.2022 We have implemented the safe social distancing to help to keep everyone safe. Our priority at this stage is to keep firstly our staff safe as well as our community to help to prevent the spread of the virus. Where possible we encourage customers to tap and go to restrict the handling of money. Our girls have been working extremely hard to keep the shelves stocked and we are almost back on track, although there are a few items that are still difficult to receive from the wareh...ouse, fruit and veg, breed and milk are pretty well stocked. We endeavour to continue to support our community in every way we can. Unfortunately there has been some small price increases due to a supply issue, you can be rest assured that we are keeping prices as affordable as possible, and would appreciate the community’s support with these very tough decisions. 04.01.2022 Attention Tocumwal residents. In another step to keep you safe from Covid 19 we have increased our delivery service to Monday through to Friday for any of your grocery requirements. All orders need to be either emailed through to [email protected] or phoned through on 035874 2048 before 11am very morning, you will need to provide a credit card number along with the CCV number for payment and we can deliver to your door. No need for you to leave your home and we can contact you when we are on approach. Deliveries will be left at your front door as to encourage social distancing. Thanks for your continued support and please be patient as there will be an increase demand for this service.

01.01.2022 March's IGA will provide a home delivery service Monday to Friday. Please note that deliveries will not be available Good Friday or Easter Monday. Orders should be emailed to [email protected] or phoned through on 03 5874 2048 (if your call rings out, please try again - we will probably be on another call). We will require your credit card details, expiry date and csv number. If you aren't comfortable to put this in your email, please ring through. We will also accept... cash, so you will need to specify the amount of cash you will give our driver and he will bring you the correct change. Your order should specify the product brand and size eg Birds Eye Frozen Peas - 1kg and needs to be communicated to March's IGA between 8am and 11am for same day delivery. Because of the huge demand for this service, deliveries will be capped a two per week. We will endeavour to fill your order in it's entirety, but please be aware some stock may not be available.
