15.01.2022 Congratulations to IPC Teacher, Mr John Alloway, for being shortlisted for the Queensland College of Teachers TEACHX Outstanding Contribution to Teaching Award. They say the mark of a man is the legacy that he leaves behind. In the case of John Alloway, the number of young men he has influenced, and lives he has changed, cannot be measured. A driving force in ensuring Catholic school students were able to represent Queensland in sport, John Alloway has left an outstanding le...gacy both at his school and state-wide. John encourages life-long learning and models it in his own life. He embraces life as a journey of continual learning, and he is always looking to better himself. We thank John for his outstanding contribution to IPC.

05.01.2022 Malachi Ware, who has just graduated from Year 12, presented the College with a Torres Strait Islander Dhari last week. This was presented as a gift to the College for the support given to Malachi and his family throughout his time as a student of IPC. This is a traditional Torres Strait Islander headdress and is an extremely important cultural component for Torres Strait Islanders. This was made by Malachi’s grandfather on Thursday Island.
