10.01.2022 Time your drafts early! One of the biggest mistakes that students are making is polishing a draft essay, memorising that essay and then going into the exam without the certainty that their essay can be written out in way LESS than the allocated time so that there’s plenty of time to ADAPT to the new question on the day. Don’t make this mistake for Trials; time your essays BEFORE memorising and then cut them down so that you can write them out with 15-20% of the allotted time to spare (to adapt on the day). For example, a draft for a 40 minute essay (Eg Module A) should be 32-34 minutes long.

09.01.2022 Every introduction should have these elements: Form, Context, Theme, Plot, Actual Words of the Question, Unpacking of the Question (using micro questions: how, why, what type, so what), Rubric terms. . #hsc #english #essay #write #intro
