08.01.2022 Asia Awakening is a night of worship and prayer where two generations (from youngest to oldest) are coming together to hunger for revival. It is an awakening call to all generations in this very important hour to rise up and stand together for spiritual resurrection and to fulfil their destiny. This event is hosted jointly by united churches from different denominations and nationalities (Australian, Korean, Nepali, Filipino, Indonesian). In the past two years, every third Mo...nday of the month God has brought together pastors and leaders from different national backgrounds and church denominations to worship, pray and fellowship with one another. As we honoured one another in humility, God started to unite our hearts. We have seen many wonderful works of God through this unity. Why is this gathering is important for such a time as this, especially for those who have an Asian background? They reasons for that are. 1. Many children who are part of the 1.5 Generation (referring to people who immigrated to Australia before or during their early teens) and the 2.0 Generation (Second Generation - those who were born in Australia) are having difficulties to identifying themselves. 2. Younger generation is becoming more self-centred and less interested to identify themselves with their parent’s faith. 3. Separation between Christians Denominations and the many different nationalities in Australia make it more difficult to unite as one body of Christ. These days, we are facing the reality that we are losing the young generation: they have become less interested in the things of God. In Malachi 4 it says that in the last day he will turn The hearts of the fathers to the children, And the hearts of the children to their fathers, Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse. God is going to restore the fathers generation and sons generation. Today God is calling all fathers including parents, fathers, mothers, senior pastors, leaders and He also calling all sons’ including young generation, young pastors, young leaders to run together for His purpose and His Kingdom. The fathers generation shall pass on to the sons generation a solid legacy of faith and Godly values. The fathers will love, support, mentor and bless the sons. There will be fathers and sons working together for the last-day revival! We are calling Fathers and Sons Generations to be united in worship and prayer in Asia Awakening, Saturday 21st of March 6pm at HisStory church, 60 Parramatta Rd, Lidcombe. A Childrens program will be provided. The service will be in English. We are also inviting all Pastors and leaders to join the Pastors prayer meeting at 5pm for praying and connecting time. You are welcome to join. God bless!
