22.01.2022 Have you ever heard of the saying 'Eat the Frog?' Its a bit odd isn't it? Lol. Ok so the idea behind 'eating the frog', is to just get it over and done with!... You know that big scary task, conversation, or situation that you keep avoiding? The idea of 'Eat that Frog', is just to get in there and get it over and done with so you can move on and forward. Did you know that majority of the time, the thought of doing something we don't want to do is more stressful, exhausting and causes more stress and anxiety than just doing it? Have you ever sat at the edge of the pool, dipping your toe in, working yourself up at the thought of how cold it could potentially be, desperately trying to find the courage to get in or a an excuse to back out? In that moment, have you noticed how your heart begins to beat faster, your breathing becomes more shallow and your mind starts racing trying to determine the options and best decision? And then someone comes along and pushes you in....... and after the initial 5 seconds of Wholly %*&, you relax, your heart slows down, your breathing goes back to normal, most of the time you laugh because you realise it wasn't that bad and you enjoy your swim. OMG how much easier would it have been to just jump in, in the first place!!! SO, the idea of 'Eat that Frog' is to start your day with the biggest, hairiest task that you do not want to do. Jump right in, get it done and enjoy the rest of your day!! EAT THAT FROG!!!! (please note; no frogs were or will be harmed in writing this post Nor do I recommend that you eat a literal frog) Unless of course you want to in which case wellll.....you do so at your own risk

22.01.2022 So often people become disheartened, frustrated or give up when they have a great idea.... aaannndd it doesn't work... Or they implement something ..... and nothing changes.... Or they have a conversation with a team member or give feedback that it not taken on board..... And here is the thing.... Just because you are on the right track.... it doesn't mean that you don't have to do anything more!! You cannot plant a tree and water it once and expect it to grow You cannot eat dinner once and then never need to eat again The garden will fill with weeds again if you do not keep removing them... Like most things in life.... Success takes repetition, movement, constant re-calibration and evaluation... Nothing survives, let alone thrives if it is stagnant, left unattended and not continually improved. #igniteyourbusiness #successmindset #leadershipskills

20.01.2022 I never thought I would be doing a training with Pink hair... but here we are... having fun in training today and letting our wild side out with a little dress ...up day. Life has changed and we have all had to adapt to the new world that covid has created for us... I am all for finding fun little ways to bring adventure and excitement back to the training room... well the training zoom .. as it now is...
