22.01.2022 So as I read through James 5 this morning as part of the Project 3:45 Reading plan I came across this verse. James 5:13 Prayer is not just for the times when everything is falling apart. God wants us to pray when we are in trouble. He also wants us to praise when things are good. They don't have to be the massive events, the life-shaking events before you can ask for prayer. Or even offer to pray for someone. We can go before God with anything, big or small.... James 5:16b says The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. God hears prayers, and He answers them, but we need to offer them! So today, wherever you are, whatever you are doing. Do you need to ask someone for prayer? Or can you offer to pray for someone?

21.01.2022 We only have 2 more weeks of Ignite Youth for 2020. How sad is that? But we are keen to celebrate the end of the year with you guys! So on 11th December we are having an end of year party here at Church! Come along for fun, food and to hang out with friends. We are keen to see you guys there!

We start to feel exhausted by all the things that come at us every day. This term we have talked about burdens, but Jesus is here to say that He has a way! He has a new way for us to be refreshed.... Where it doesn't come from doing stuff around you. Jesus has a way where life will fill us from the inside... Because of Him. Because we spend time with Him. Have you spent time with Him today? Take some time now to drink from the well that is Jesus and be refreshed!

How good is it to be encouraged by someone? To be told you are doing things well? How nice is it to be spurred on to be better? Our challenge for you for the rest of today, and tomorrow (and even beyond that) is to encourage the people that you meet. Be specific and build them up! Help them to know that they are important and worthwhile...
