My faves are Italian Big Leaf Basil, Rosemary, Coriander, Thai Basil, Mint & Sage. These are a combo of fresh Medjool Dates providing a rich source of Calcium, Iron & Fibre + Dark Roasted Coffee that melt together giving a luscious, fudgey texture. I made these into Mini Muffins but the choice is yours, you could also have regular or Texas size Muffins!! ... 08.01.2022 This is esp true for Christmas . It's the one time of the year where families travel near & far to come together, wave goodbye to the the year just gone & celebrate the new one coming. For most of us, it's a time where we lovingly cook those special, traditional family recipes handed down from Grandparents. In our family my Mum & I make Gnocchi together until we have the entire kitchen table covered, then pair it with my Italian "Sugo" or "Sassa" that's been boiling & reduci...ng for days on the stove until it's the colour & consistency of red hot molten lava . For Afternoon Tea & Visitors, I make our favourite wafer thin, bubbly Crostolì & Pasta di Mandorle Almond Biscotti. And of course, Christmas in our house, wouldn't be complete without a table laden with Antipasti, Crusty Bread, Extra Virgin Olive Oil for dipping, Black Olive Tapenade, Anchovy & Rosemary home made Foccacia + a multitude of deli soft, hard, very sharp & pungent Cheeses . And last but not least, we always have some juicy Prawns & Muddies I'd love to hear what's traditional for YOUR family on Christmas Day!! 07.01.2022 Did you know there were lots of other uses for bicarb aside from cooking? Bicarbonate of soda is a cleaning superstar, thanks to its gentle abrasive nature and the fact it's a great natural deodoriser. Use it to:... Absorb food odours in the fridge. Fill a ramekin with bicarb and leave it to do its magic. Clean countertops, stainless steel sinks, microwaves, and cooking utensils. Simply mix into a paste with a little water and scrub. Freshen stale-smelling sponges. Mix with water and leave the sponge to soak. Deodorise carpets, upholstered furniture and even pet beds. Sprinkle it on, leave for 15 mins and then vacuum up. Stop trainers smelling. Sprinkle a little bicarb inside them, then tap it out before your next gym session. Remove tarnish from sterling silver. Make up a paste using three parts bicarb to one-part water and apply it with a lint-free cloth or paper towel, then rinse.
