15.01.2022 Energy Efficiency Council CEO Luke Menzel has been appointed to our Steering Committee. He replaces Jorge Chapa from the Green Building Council of Australia, who stood down due to work commitments. Luke agreeing to join the Steering Committee is a real coup for the i-Hub, says AIRAH CEO Tony Gleeson, M.AIRAH. 13.01.2022 At tomorrow's AIRAH #BigData2020 virtual event, CSIRO's Dr Josh Wall will present on #iHubAustralia's Smart Buildings Data Clearing House. This presentation will provide an overview of the latest developments on the AIRAH/CSIRO i-Hub Smart Building Data Clearing House project, including a live demonstration of real-world data ingestion and federation from multiple disparate commercial building data sources (BIM, BMS, submetering, solar PV, Battery Storage, BOM weather data). Use of the latest building information schemas (BIM/IFC, BRICK and Haystack) will be presented to show how open data standards and linked data can be used to facilitate smart building services and applications, highlighting the value and potential of a national Smart Building Data Clearing House.
