23.01.2022 We have been presenting rams unshorn since our very 1st sale in 2006. One of the main things that attracted us to the breed initially was the shedding ability o...f the sheep, and that is almost impossible to assess in sheep that are presented shorn. Prior to having White Dorpers, the Mosely family ran 10,000 merinos and we battled in big seasons with high mortality from speargrass infestation and flystrike. It was not a path Andrew & I wanted to continue down. We shifted our focus from fibre to meat and so our White Dorper journey began. It is imperative to us that the White Dorpers we breed are environmentally fit and make less work for us, not more! Our sheep are excellent shedders and we now avoid problems with grass seed contamination and use next to zero chemicals. Our rams are 100% grass raised. 100% Rangeland Ready. 21.01.2022 Bit worried this paddock may have had tooo much water on it after sowing but it seems happy enough! Pictures of this same paddock only 4 months ago......so nice to see!

02.01.2022 Been a few years since we've got to do this, making hay while the sun...and the moon shines!...loving it!!! At Tara and Socket Toomey's "Mildyn Park" and all sown off the back of our H/D Ennor Offset plough! This ground was all covered with tall regrowth and woody weed August 2019 and not to mention the drought....and look at it now!
