13.01.2022 So I just had a Facebook memory pop up, and was so surprised when I read the date!! On this day 10 years ago (9/03/2010), I purchased my first ever waxing table!! I’VE MADE A WHOLE DECADE IN THE BEAUTY INDUSTRY!! ... I feel like every time a client asks me how long I’ve been in the industry for, I’ve been saying oh about 7 years over and over I never actually realised it’s been 10 years The years have absolutely flown, I can’t believe it’s been a whole decade, definitely a proud moment I wanted to share with you all. 09.01.2022 Yep, it’s an actual thing! Seasonal Hair Loss (including our lashes) usually happens in Spring & Autumn. If you are losing lashes more than normal know it’s nothing to worry about & is completely normal! Any hair lost is being replaced by new growth. If you are bothered by your increased fallout, we suggest adjusting your appointment to keep on top of it until it has passed

08.01.2022 This right here is by far the craziest lash transformation I’ve ever done!! And my goodness was it SO SATISFYING!! This is why ladies, you MUST ALWAYS do your research!! ASK QUESTIONS!! - Are they qualified? ... - How long have they been lashing for? - What products are used? - What are their online reviews like?? - Portfolio photos?? Not only were the wrong style, thickness & length of extensions used, they weren’t even applied correctly. This beauties lashes were all clumped together with way too much poor quality glue, as well as stuck to the eyelid I had to do a total removal of her current lashes, whilst trying to saviour as many of her naturals as possible, which I managed to do as best I could Her lashes still have a long way to go in terms of making a full recovery, but you can see the instant difference when a safe set of lashes have been applied correctly vs.. the monstrosity that walked in beforehand You get what you pay for, don’t settle for anything less than your beautiful eyes deserve, don’t go cheap, and NEVER go unqualified!!

07.01.2022 It brings me SO much happiness & excitement to announce that I am only WEEKS AWAY from relocating to a brand new private studio in Oakleigh South! (Only 5 mins away from my Cheltenham location) Cheltenham has been the place of growth for my business, it’s really where my love for the beauty industry all began. From waxing & lashing my clients in my bedroom for fun, upgrading into a private room, converting the bathroom into a Spray Tan room (sorry mum for the me...ss ) it’s certainly served me so well over the years and looking back I’m so proud of how far I’ve come. In saying that, nothing is quite as refreshing as change! Bright lights, the smell of fresh paint, new floors, new interior design & colours. 03.01.2022 Morning everyone I hope you are all feeling well and staying positive during this incredibly awful situation unfolding. It is with a heavy heart that I announce the temporary closure of my business until further notice. ... As the spread of COVID-19 continues, I have to put the health of my family before anything else. Living with our grandma has made us realise the critical importance of this situation. Health comes first and I cannot risk bringing anything home to her, or to my daughter. As soon as things settle and work is a safe place for all of us again I will re open right away. Being in such close contact with you all, especially doing lashes is unfortunately is a huge risk to all of us. There’s only so much masks & sanitiser can protect. I urge you all to think twice before getting close to anyone, even for the love of beauty. I will be contacting everyone personally who have upcoming bookings and I apologise in advance for those of you who wanted to book in with me in the near future. We are only weeks away (hopefully) from moving into our new place, so I will be posting updates in the weeks to come. I also encourage all of you, to think of small businesses like mine during this incredibly difficult time. My entire income as of today has suddenly stopped. I have a family, a mortgage, financial pressures with our upcoming move and no idea when it’s going to change for the better. I feel so helpless.
