12.01.2022 I have just completed this online module to make sure I have all correct information on the Covid19 virus and confirm I am taking all necessary precautions to prevent any type of infection! Standard rules apply in regards to feeling unwell, so remember if you have even a runny nose, please contact me to cancel or reschedule. We still don’t know what the future holds but for now I am still open and it’s business as usual with a ramp up of extra sanitisation. I suggest everyone... carry a small bottle of sanitiser on them and a small pack of tissues in case they need to cough or sneeze so the tissue can be thrown straight in the bin. Masks are not needed as it doesn’t stop the spread, however those that are tested positive should wear masks to stop any saliva particles spreading. Although these people should also be in lockdown anyway! Working together with hygiene is such an important step to staying on top of this pandemic The elderly and those with compromised immune systems are still the those largely at risk of severe illness, so make sure you call them regularly to check in on them peace and love See more

07.01.2022 What a devastating time we are all going through right now. I have been back and forth in my mind about what is the right decision to make and realistically, health should ALWAYS come before money! Being selfless should come before money. So as of yesterday, even though the government said we are able to stay open.. but contradict themselves by saying to stay 1.5m away from clients (which is actually impossible as I’m 30cm away from your face), I have closed up. This IS temp...orary and I WILL be back! But for right now I want to avoid the potential of the virus attaching itself to me without signs and passing it onto a client who then may pass it onto someone with a compromised immune system or a client passing it onto me and then I pass it onto someone with a compromised immune system. Imagine someone becoming seriously ill or worse, dying, because I decided to keep taking clients. Yeah NO THANKS! My boys school closed yesterday so I am home school for the time being. Please everyone take care of yourselves and those around you. Beauty is NOT everything, as much as we want to believe lashes IS an essential service it really isn’t. If you love your lash extensions & want them to last a long time then do yourself (and your Lash Stylist) a favour & use a SPECIALTY LASH CLEANSER EVERY DAY! ... Please don’t use just any cleanser as MOST carry ingredients that aren’t suitable for use with extensions & will actually REDUCE the life of your beautiful lash extensions! Do not be fooled thinking that by not getting them wet that they will somehow last longer because this just isn’t true. Myth busted. End of story. Bare in mind your eyelids are in fact the OILIEST part of your entire body & oil and lash extensions don’t play well together! Combine natural oils with oils from makeup products & you now have a recipe for a lash retention nightmare! So if you’re having lash retention issues, before you go blaming your Lash Stylist please make sure that you’re holding up your end of the deal & looking after your extensions properly! Understand that Lash Retention is a 50/50 relationship between YOU & your Stylist. It’s your Stylists responsibility to always use quality products, fresh adhesive that is suitable for their working environment & the correct technique to ensure the bond between the natural lash & the extension is as strong as possible. As a client, your responsibility (if you want super long lasting lashes) is to keep your lashes clean using an approved lash cleanser & away from oily products such as moisturisers, sunscreens & other non compatible products & makeups such as mascara.
