15.01.2022 Hi everyone! Some of you know I’m gradually easing my way out of the beauty industry. Just letting all my clients know that starting next week, the only day I can do beauty work is Mondays. I’ve received a job at a specialist doctor (which was out of the blue!) and I’ll also be doing my prac (for a tafe course I’m doing) other days so it only leaves Monday for beauty work. I know this isn’t going to suit everyone but unfortunately that’s the only day I can now do. If you can’t do Mondays at all, as sad as it is that I will lose clients, my friend who does my lashes is amazing so I can definitely recommend her. This also means I won’t be taking on any new clients. Thanks, Elise xx
13.01.2022 I have always had a lot of people ask why some lash techs can take as little as 30 mins to do a refill. My answer is that I could do that too but I would not be lashing every natural lash. After about 5 years, I can whip those babies on in no time BUT isolating each and every lash takes time, ensuring all natural lashes are lashed takes time and making sure no lashes are stuck together takes time. The most important factor is ensuring there is no damage to your natural lashes... which takes time. I don’t have a time limit for each client, I am finished when I have lashed every lash. So this is the difference! This photo shows the fullness I provide which definitely can’t be achieved in 30 mins, it’s just not possible. I am happy to do a refill in 30-45 mins to suit those people with not much time on their hands but it won’t be a full set. If you’re interested in this, please message me! 11.01.2022 To my clients who have contacted me regarding lash appointments, I will contact you once further info comes out. Some beauty therapies can reopen next weekend, we will wait and see what this means!
11.01.2022 To be able to open my business doors next week, I need to have a Covid-19 SAFE plan in place. As a Beauty Therapist, I have always been very strict in terms of disinfection, sterilisation, hygiene etc. After each client, I always disinfect and sterilise my tools, change the bedding and wash my hands....the list goes on. There are a few extra things that I will now be doing as of Monday, as per Qld Health guidelines:- 1. Please use hand sanitiser when you enter my business (I ...will have this available). 2. Please do not take off your shoes (a lot of you do because it’s my house) but Qld Health has advised no one is to be barefoot. 3. Please attend the appointment alone, don’t bring a friend, family member etc. 4. In between clients, I will disinfectant all surfaces plus the usual cleaning practices I already do. 5. I always wear a mask when lashing but I will now also be wearing gloves. If you would like to bring a mask with you to wear, that’s fine with me. 6. If you arrive early to your appointment and I am still with a client, please wait outside. 7. If you are feeling unwell, please cancel your appointment. The same goes for me, if I feel unwell at all or have a sick child, I will be cancelling my appointments. I have all my client’s details on record as I get every new client to complete a consultation form when they first come to me. Please advise if any of your details have changed. I’ll be honest with you, I am a germaphobe so I will be ensuring all hygiene guidelines are followed! If there’s any concerns, please contact me xx
10.01.2022 Hi everyone. iLash’d will be closing its doors for good on Monday 24th August. The doctor who I’ve started working for, has offered me more hours which I am keen to take. I am feeling a little sad to close my business but at the same time I’m very excited to have a change and start a new adventure. If I have you booked between now and then, your appointment will remain the same. Looking forward to saying a final goodbye to you all before I finish. I have the most amazing clients who have supported me over the last few years which I’ll be forever thankful for. If you would like to book in when I am allowed to reopen, please send me a message now! Once the restrictions are lifted, I will contact each of you to offer my first available appointment. Unfortunately I don’t know when I can reopen, I only know what all of you know. It could be next week, it could be months away. Thank you
04.01.2022 I highly recommend Lynda for lashes. I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else. She’s a perfectionist, doesn’t glue lashes together, lashes every natural lash and all round a lovely lady! She does amazing henna eyebrows and is also a hairdresser!
