25.01.2022 Posie of the day The Deli. Bilgola for $29 floral treat anyone?

23.01.2022 Just Wow. Another couple of days completely sold out I left the Deli today feeling completely overjoyed and slightly in disbelief because you lovely peeps bought 31 of my little posies over two days. The fact that so many of you believed enough in my craft to buy a posy (or several!) was completely overwhelming. But mostly, I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know you.. have a chat, a laugh, share our stories, take the time to pause for a sec and enjoy a conversation with ano...ther human. Many of you have asked me how I got into flowers.. and well it is rather a long story involving some heartbreaking and distressful times in the past few years of my life but those hard times brought resilience and silver lining that over time grew that tiny seed of self belief and confidence I didn’t know I had. I am sitting down tonight reflecting on those last two days and the only thing I want to tell all of you is merci du fond du cœur (thank you from the bottom of my heart) Thank you for your curiosity in my flower pop up, thank you for taking the time to have a chat, thank you for the trust you’ve given me with your flowers and merci so much for all the wonderful feedback you have given me. And let’s not forget, thank you so so so much to Chauntelle & Josh from @thedeli.bilgola for believing in me and giving me this incredible opportunity. I honestly cannot wait to come back next week with a brand new design for my next pop up. And on that note, here is Le Seasonal posy that a lovely lady ordered at the Pop up the other day a bientôt!

18.01.2022 Make sure to come and get your pretty posy this Wednesday at @thedeli.bilgola or on Thursday at @relishnorthavalon before we go for a well-deserved little family break Le Pop Up will re-open on Thursday 15th Apr Happy Easter everyone

18.01.2022 Lily, what does Ile de Ré mean? Is another question I get very often Ile de Ré is a French island off Brittany on the south west coast, famed for its vibrant, colourful Hollyhocks and blue, green shutters This is where I spent many wonderful childhood holidays at my grand-parents holiday home My ever so sweet grand parents Papa Coco & Minette bought this magical house about 60 years ago with the promise to offer their 8 children and grand children to come a ho...liday seaside escape from their busy city lives. They ended up having 21 grand children and I was the very first I remember vividly as a child how excited I was when Papa Coco & Minette would regularly take me to the markets to buy fresh veggies, fruits, seafood and... flowers. Once home, I would watch Minette prepping La Mouclade first (very French delish Mussels recipe) and then move onto crafting a floral arrangement for the alfresco lunch table I was mesmerised. Many many years of wonderful family holidays and memories went by and very unfortunately Papa Coco & Minette had to sell our beloved holiday house. We were all absolutely devastated but Minette was completely heartbroken L’Ile de Ré , that I have always cherished so much has always been in my heart & soul, even after all those years. So I wanted to give it a legacy, a story, a presence. And this is how Ile de Ré Flowers got named So here you go, now you know

06.01.2022 It’s been a very rough week for my family and trust me... I was so looking forward to opening Le Pop Up tomorrow at @thedeli.bilgola to get the distraction & love but last minute stuff up (thank you dear husband) means I have no one to look after my kids tomorrow morning when am supposed to head down to the flower market for your weekly floral fix so please don’t despair, I’ll be back on Friday at the Deli. And again, am so sorry

04.01.2022 As promised we’re back @thedeli.bilgola with fresh flowers and a new design

03.01.2022 Let me share with you the story behind Le Pop Up Flower shop at the Deli Bilgola Very often people people ask me so what do you have going on here? Your flowers are so beautiful, very different from what we see around and so affordable! Well let me tell you.. you see back home in France, we Frenchies love to get fresh flowers for our home after getting our coffee our baguette it’s like a weekly tradition (that doesn’t break the bank!) because flowers are afford...able for everyone. When I launched my floristry business in October last year, I realised early on that people in our communities very often buy flowers to gift someone but rarely treat themselves as they can’t justify the expense Well, we at Ile de Ré Flowers wanted to change that and make beautiful hand crafted posies available to anyone by bringing the French floral concept to the Deli All our posies are made from fresh and gorgeous flowers carefully selected at the Flemington market. Every posy is composed with that French flair and comes with several elements and various textures to make it vibrant, striking and simply beautiful. And the best part? They only cost $29 Locals have tried our concept and absolutely love it so much that am sold out at the end of each day! Seeing how popular this concept is, The Deli and Ile de Ré Flowers have decided to make Le Pop Up Flower shop a permanent adventure and will be open every Wednesday and Friday all day So on that note, we will be back on deck tomorrow morning bright and early with fresh flowers and a brand new design À bientôt!
