12.01.2022 2020 what a year! We feel like the word of the year is "Pivot". And pivot is what we did. From selling WA's best fashion and homewares labels one minute, to making PPE for medical staff and the general public by the next, gosh did we pivot. After that blurry, somewhat surreal time we managed to reflect on what is important to us as individuals and as a business. ... Upon that reflection we have made the difficult decision to close our beautiful store. Many factors have played a part in our decision to close our store, and with the end of our lease approaching it is also serendipitous. We have had our store on Oxford St for close to 5 years and are so proud of our achievements and successes in this space. We have loved the brands we are now forever friends with, the amazing customers we have met and supported us, our next door neighbours, and of course our huge love of the local Mount Hawthorn area. Despite closing the store, not all areas of our business are closing. We will continue to build the evolution of ILKA in the custom make realm, with our ROSA collection, Clothing Alterations, Clothing Manufacturing as well as fashion consulting. Our store's final day of trade will be Thursday, 31st December 2020. We look forward to seeing you all during the festive season, and we hope to see you for all your alterations needs at our new location, which will be advertised so soon! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! xxx
