23.01.2022 What do you love about living in a uni town? We love the mix of business and the arts! It's a great night of networking at the innovation campus and a showcase of amazing talent at the Unihall tonight. And a shout out to Gateway City Church who we helped paint the town red for their youth event 'Revolution Red'. Plenty happening in the Gong on a Thursday night! #welovethegong

22.01.2022 It's a great time for the whole family down at Wings over the Illawarra today and tomorrow. Gates open again tomorrow morning if you didn't get there today. This event is bigger and better this year and we are proud to be supplying PA to help the thousands in attendance have an amazing day.

22.01.2022 What a December! We have one more Carols to go, which will be the 9th we've been involved in over the last 2 weeks. That was following straight on from a few weeks of dance schools with the normal corporate work and a whole heap of installations and upgrades. We are ready for an egg nog or two. Thanks to all our loyal customers and suppliers, and the new ones who have joined us in 2017. Enjoy a break, stay safe and we hope to see you at one of our New Years Eve events.

21.01.2022 IPS was honoured to be a part of the Centenary of ANZAC celebration earlier this week at City Diggers Wollongong. We are also proud to say we are involved in 6 services this coming ANZAC day across the Illawarra and Southern Highlands. See you on Monday at dawn. Lest We Forget.

19.01.2022 We recently worked with our friends Arena AV, Relativity and Splash Occasions on the Wollongong City Centre Business and Retail Awards. Congratulations to all the finalists and winners on what was a great night out in the Wollongong Entertainment Centre.

13.01.2022 Good luck to all the riders in the 8848 cycling event at Garie Beach starting this morning. Get your head around this.....they will do laps up the hill from the surf club until they have climbed the vertical distance of Mount Everest! The quickest of the riders may be done by midnight or early morning, others will push on up until 10am tomorrow. Great effort in support of the Cancer Council. Visit www.mm.events for more info. We have set up a start finish arch structure and atmospheric lighting around the site to make the overnight stretch a bit more magical.

11.01.2022 It was a blue night. Great to work with Bluejuice for Bluescope Steel and WIN on their community partnership grants this year. Fantastic program supporting the local community. It was also another opportunity to say happy 50th to Colorbond Steel!

11.01.2022 Always great working around Macarthur with Macarthur's station, C91.3fm! We provided lighting, and a video system displaying station IDs and promotional scrolling video throughout the day and night. Always fun working with you C91.3FM!

10.01.2022 Illawarra Production Services were recently looking for something that could provide some real impact on festival stages - even during daylight. They decided up...on the ShowPro PixPad which provides a very professional level of features whilst still remaining affordable, portable, lightweight and extremely useful. We’ve been really happy with their output and they provide something different to the more common ‘can’ or ‘strip’ style LED fixture, commented Jon Bracht of IPS. They also have a really nice build quality being easy to rig individually or locked together, and with the Powercon loop through they are just quick, easy and effective. With individual control of each RGB pixel, when placed together in quantities, allows users to even scroll text and advanced colour chases. However there is also a large number of on-board programs which can run in stand-alone mode to ensure a simple and quick set up when required. Jon also decided to purchase a quantity of ShowPro LED PAR Hex-18 IP65 saying that they have proved to be a great multi-purpose fixture. Being RGBAWUV, we’ve been able to use them for UV washes, for white front washes where power is really limited, but then they have great colour saturation that punches through on a larger stage as well, he added. With the IP65 rating it gives us an easy option for lighting up large outdoor spaces, or Wollongong’s lighthouses for example.

08.01.2022 This years Psyfari festival faced some big challenges with heavy rain during bump in, and a lot of public scrutiny from police during planning. The organisers again pulled off a pretty spectacular and unique event though, one which we are always really excited to be a part of. IPS again provided full festival PA for the Stampede stage, as well as technical support and lighting operators over both the Stampede and Life Cycle stage. While it's often referred to as a "bush d...oof", the Psyfari festival draws in a huge range of people, ages and costumes. You could listen to 24/7 D&B, or "Tasmanian Convict Punk" with The Dead Maggies, now world famous The Bennies, or this years highlight of Peter Coombe on the main stage singing Toffee Apple and Newspaper Mama! There's been a lot of people getting their photos onto social media now that they are back in phone reception, here's a taste of some of our favourites and some of our own. Now that we've finished our final Carols by Candlelight for this year, we are taking a few days off over Christmas, before being back at it for a super busy NYE. Our office will officially reopen on the 4th January, but as always over the holidays our office number diverts to an on call staff member if you have any major technical catastrophes!
