25.01.2022 You don’t have to receive a medal or a trophy to be a winner. 22 teams competed today at the Shellharbour City Festival of Sports and every team was a winner. Great paddling and good humour combined with team work and comraidery made every one a winner under sunny skies at Skyway Park. See you all next year.

25.01.2022 A beautiful morning for walking and talking. Maybe more talking than walking today, but hey, its great to catch up as we get closer to being back on the water.

24.01.2022 Are your paddles taking up space in cupboards, garages and corners of the house? Are they forlornly gathering dust? Are they a sorry reminder of happier paddlin...g times before Covid 19 came into our lives? Well, a fellow Plurabelle Paddler has forwarded on this short video from a dragon boat club in Dubai (hence the gorgeous sunshine!). The video shows how we can rescue our paddles from cupboards, etc., and ingeniously use toilet roll (that some people have stockpiled). Mind you, its not the way toilet roll was intended to be used! If youre trying to recreate this video at home, please mind those paddles. They are precious and will be invaluable when the Covid 19 crisis is over and we return to paddling again. Now, isnt that a happy thought! In the meantime, stay well. Mind yourself & your loved ones (even if that means temporarily keeping your distance from them)

24.01.2022 A good recommendation from DBNSW. May see us back on the water sooner.

Whilst the weather is currently windy and cold and there is predicted showers tomorrow morning, let me know if you are still keen to walk. Sundays weather doesnt look promising either so if we cant catch up over this weekend, we will reschedule for next weekend. Cheers all.
