24.01.2022 A project recently carried out and successfully completed in Surry Hills Sydney. This project consisted of multiple locations requiring cavity flashing replacement. Poor and deteriorating existing cavity flashings and or flashings in general promote water ingress to habitable areas causes a range of problems from cosmetic to structural and personal health issues! The team had this particular project wrapped up in the space of a few days, which is great for all parties involved and especially the hundreds of residents living in this complex.



07.01.2022 Recently completed project in Wollongong, this project involved concrete spalling (concrete cancer) repairs, removal of aluminium slab edge capping and application of acrylic skim coat render to the slab edge. The finish result providing not only a uniform finish but correctly tackling and addressing the structural stability issue with defect concrete. Leaving defective concrete like shown, opposed to early treatment creates further safety issues and increase risk with regards to rectification as time goes on un-repaired.

06.01.2022 An emergency job completed just prior to the festive break! In the space of 3 days from Illawarra Masonry & Repairs receiving contact from our clients, Illawarra Masonry & Repairs had the rubble removed from site, materials sourced and onsite & rebuild the structure to match existing. Being the festive season and the lead up the festive break this was a great effort and outcome for all involved.
