24.01.2022 Burnt bush, bunnies and bloody good single track. At Tathra we have it all this Easter. Just to keep you in the loop......there's 21km of single track open for ...riding NOW. The Fire shed Legends Loop has been groomed for Easter. For those who haven't ridden it, it's got the woo-hoo factor minus the steeper hills of the Bundadung. It's fast and flowing with some fun gully drops. A recent inclusion is the "50 Shades" loop; an extra 3 kilometres of "naughty but nice" riding. Not sure where to find it? Park at the RFS at the top of town and head west. If in doubt get directions from Tathra Beach & Bike. For jumps and pumps - the Tathra MTB Club skills park is open. It is located at the Tathra Country Club. There is however NO access to the Bundadung trails behind the Tathra Country Club. These are ALL fire affected and we have not been given clearance to enter. Crews will be assessing the area and removing dangerous trees during the next week - so please be patient. As for the bunnies. There is an Easter Egg hunt on Sunday morning. So keep an eye out in town for full details. And..thank you again to everyone who has helped Tathra. Your words of support, offers of help and generous donations are heartening to us all. There's still a long road to recovery and the best thing you can do is come and love our town as much as we do! 12.01.2022 Donations required As a Tathra local growing up this hits close to home. In light of the devastating bush fires that have caused major damage to the community. We are looking for donations of winter clothes , bike kit , anything bike related , shoes etc to send down. We will have a collection bin @ Greenvalleys Mountain Bike Park over the next few weeks an will organise a drop off point in Wollongong (please contact for details)

04.01.2022 HELP US REBUILD TATHRA MTB TRAILS. RIDE, RAKE AND RACE? RIDE, RAKE AND RELAX? Tathra MTB Club is holding two track rebuilding days to make our recently burnt tr...ails smicko for the Tathra Beach & Bike Enduro in June. To keep if fun, the days coincide with our Winter Warmers MTB Series giving all volunteers the chance to join us for a fun club race, post race BBQ and some beers. RAKE, RACE OR RIDE 1 The Fast Fireman Saturday, April 28. We aim to rake all the trails on the burnt Bundadung (approx. 25km) from 10am. This will be followed by the Fast Fireman Club Race a 22km lap of the flowing unspoilt Fire Shed trails (Starting at 1pm) - culminating in a 3.30pm thank you BBQ at the Tathra Country Club and beers from Beechworth’s Bridge Rd Brewers. (Ps: the Fire shed trails were not burnt) If you’d rather relax and not race you can ride your handiwork on the Bundadung and still join us for the BBQ RAKE, RACE OR RIDE 2 A Ride in the Black Forest Saturday, May 26. We plan to re-sign the Bundadung and complete odd jobs from 10am. This will be followed by the Ride in the Black Forest club race. This is your chance to ride the rebuilt, pimped up Bundadung with all its new berms, bridges and bumps ahead of the Tathra MTB Enduro. Again, no day is complete without the right kind of hospitality. So please join us at the Tathra Country Club from 3.30pm for beers from Jindabyne Brewing, a BBQ and a few tall stories.... Full details on each day will be posted a week out from the event. But mark your diaries, book your bed, bring your togs and make a weekend of it. 03.01.2022 Awesome weekend @Greenvalleys Mountain Bike Park with Garigal Gorillas MTB Club camping and shredding it was in tents @ Intense Cycles Australia demo bikes and RideAus with bringing together Specialized Bicycles and co for GV Amp'd Australia's first class 1 E-MTB event. There was a sea of DHaRCO and also a big thanks to Brigitte Stoppel for her donations to Tathra MTB Club members plus thanks to the legend who gave the shuttle bus a early Xmas present you know who you are
