22.01.2022 COVID UPDATE NOTICE Dear School Community, With Tasmania's borders re-opening this week, it is timely to remind the school community re our COVID procedures and guidelines. ... We must be careful to maintain the following and not to become complacent in order to minimise the risk of spreading COVID: Students must continue to wash hands carefully and cover any coughs or sneezes with their elbow. At this stage students cannot bring plates of food to share. A huge thank you for keeping children home when they are presenting with any cold or flu symptoms. Please remember to: Sanitise your hands prior to entering the school site Remain outside classrooms at drop off and pick up times Leave the school site promptly at the end of the school day Complete the Health Screening form and sign in at the school office if staying on site for more than 10 minutes Continue to keep children home if they are presenting with cold and flu symptoms Thank you for your ongoing support in these measures.

04.01.2022 Dear Parents and Carers Please be advised that there have been some changes to the Term 1 school holiday dates. The end date for Term 1, 2021, has been brought forward to allow the school holiday period to commence immediately following Easter Tuesday.... This means that students will not have to return to school for three days between Easter break and Term 1 school holidays, which was previously the case. The overarching reason behind this decision is to allow for greater learning continuity for students. The new arrangements for primary and high schools are as follows: Wednesday 31 March End of Term 1 Friday 2 April Tues 6 April Easter break Wed 7 April Tues 20 April Term 1 holidays (2 weeks) Wed 21 April Term 2 commences With the school holidays falling directly after Easter, it will be an ideal time for your family to take advantage of the extended holiday period! All Term dates for 2021 can be found on the Department of Education website at www.education.tas.gov.au/about-/term-dates/term-dates-2021/ Regards Nick Donnelly
