24.01.2022 Hi, I am Todd Morris your dedicated and enthusiastic Bark Busters dog trainer providing in-your-own-home dog training for the Illawarra and Southern Highlands area. How awesome would it be to help your loved pet fit in with your lifestyle, rather than you having to fit in with its? Barking when you’re not home, jumping on guests, chewing, poor house training, aggression to other dogs and people, pulling on the lead, not coming when called, you name it, I can help.... So no matter what the age, 8 weeks or 18 years, or what the breed, Chihuahua or Terrier, German Shepherd or Great Dane, Moodle or Maltese, Staffie or Scottie, I can help you achieve peace in your home, through our non-physical, high praise, body language approach.

24.01.2022 Bark Busters Trivia - Did you know dogs have three eyelids? Beneath the two visible eyelids lies a pink membrane which adds an extra layer of protection from dr...yness and dust. Technically termed a ‘nictitating membrane’, being able to see said membrane is usually a mark of ill health, and should result in an immediate trip to the vet. See more

15.01.2022 The weather is warming up and dogs can get dehydrated just like people do. So make sure you always keep plenty of fresh water available for your dog to drink. ...Change it daily and encourage your pet to drink more. Skip the metal bowls for drinking because they can get too hot in the sun. Instead, use sturdy plastic ones. See more

05.01.2022 How do dogs react when they hear "I love you"? In a new study conducted by Canine Cottages, four different pups were fitted with special heart rate tracking collars to show what gets them excited when interacting with their owners. Combining the heart rate tracking data from the four dogs over seven days, their average heart rate was 67 bpm. But when the canines were told "I love you" by their owners, their heart rates skyrocketed 46% to 98 bpm.... The research also showed one thing that calms a dog's heart rate: cuddling. According to the study, the dogs' heart rates decreased by 23% on average from 67 bpm to 52 bpm while they were being cuddled by their owners. They also tracked the owners’ heart rates to compare how much they love their pets. The results showed that their heart rates increased by 10% on average when they saw their dog after being away from them for a period of time.

05.01.2022 How do you know you need a Bark Busters Dog Trainer?: - If your dog is chewing up the house or damaging furniture it is a sign that they are bored and lack mental stimulation. - Some dogs might growl or snarl if you get too close to their possessions or food. - Dog pulling too hard on a leash could result in them harming themselves, or their owner if they were to fall over. - If your dog is aggressive towards other dogs at the dog park, they should be brought to our trainers ...as soon as possible. - If a dog gets too excited around new people, or constantly jumps up on guests, it might be time to get them some training See more
