20.01.2022 Last weekend our members headed off to Tuena for a wonderful weekend away. They had a great time day tripping around the local surrounds. Campfires and a cold beverage was a must while smelling dinner roast away in the camp ovens. Definitely a lovely area and one to return to.

15.01.2022 Did you know that Suzuki's iconic S has been unchanged for over 60 years? In 1958, art academy students made more than 300 proposals. The choice fell on the p...roposal of Masamichi Tezeni, a student at Tokyo University of the Arts. The S is a simple, clear and strong feature that sets Suzuki apart worldwide. Masamichi Tezeni later became one of Japan's leading industrial designers, involved in many projects, including the formative design of the Shinkansen (bullet train) 300 series.

14.01.2022 Check out this video of our members Allan, James and Alex who participated in the getting a Mullet for mental health supported by the Blackdog Institute. 07.01.2022 Jimny doing gunshot on the old telly track Cape York

07.01.2022 Anyone else notice the amount of rubbish on the gorgeous beaches? We witnessed a turtle struggling to get through the rubbish on her mission to get back to the ...ocean after laying her eggs on the beach. Now I'm no greenie but I had noticed on various beaches how much rubbish there was and after seeing that and with the initiative of Samantha another camper who picked up 2 bags my kids and I picked up 5 garbage bags plus tin and drums in about 20 min. The challenge is 2 bags per person. We've started, we'd love to see others do the same or better and post your photos in the comments below. Just 2 bags each will make a massive difference, so your kids n their kids and generations to come can enjoy it as you have. Edit..not all rubbish is from campers, alot if items looked to be from boaties, trawlers, washed from overseas etc. #keepthecapecleannpristine See more

03.01.2022 Here is a club member’s Suzuki, her pride and joy, a 1987 Suzuki Sierra tin top nicknamed Lil Rascal. When it was first picked up the poor little Sierra was a bit run down and hadn’t been running for two years. Most of the Sierra was original apart from the common change out of the door cards with aluminium checker plate and no flooring. Since then there’s been a lot of work done to Lil Rascalincluding; Full body respray Most rust fixed by owner 6.5.1 reduction gears ... 30 BF Goodrich KM2 muddies Changed out of coolant hoses on the motor 2 suspension lift 2 body lift Rebuilt brakes Replaced gearbox LED lights that change colours 7 kings spotties GME radio USB port Tigers II 2m awning And the list goes on with many more modifications in the works! Lil Rascal is the owner’s happy place, with so much enjoyment being behind the wheel. There is so much pride in this build, looking forward to see what’s to come.
