12.01.2022 We had a massive day yesterday, starting with a client in eagleby who’s HX 1 tonner is booked for a engine loom to be fitted and full inspection of wiring. Then it was off to clayfield for a reverse camera and head unit fault unfortunately for the client he was taken for granted by the last auto electrician but we are now sorting him out with a alpine head unit and reverse camera along with some sensors. From clayfield it was a trip to Nerang to install a UHF and check some wiring for some work lights. All of the clients are rebooked in for future work also Snap-on Tools Autel Knipex Milwaukee Tool

11.01.2022 This morning we headed down to the Gold Coast to sort out a tail gate that had been replaced and all the wiring chopped on a 2012 VW Polo GTI. This task wasn’t an easy one as all the wiring was the same colour so we had to de-loom the old tailgate as it still had some identification numbers on the wiring. Once that was done we refitted the loom and identified the wires, then it was time to solder them all back together. 04.01.2022 This evening we had Skaife’s pretty tuff looking Nissan Navara NP300. He had an engine light on, so we hooked up the Autel scan tool to see what we could find. With that, we did a cooling system bleed, Tested Voltage & OHMS to make sure there was no open circuit or anything faulty with the wiring. After doing those procedures we cleared the code, scanned again with no current DTC’s. Skaife was happy with the outcome but we’re going to monitor this to keep an eye on it. #illicitautoelectrics #autosparkylife #snapon #autel #nissan #np300 #navlife
