12.01.2022 Prep prep prep.... it’s all about the PREPARATION prior to application What is lash preparation? Preparing the natural lashes to be in the absolute best condition to hold an extension... This includes Thorough cleansing of lashes to help remove excess makeups, oils and debris Priming the natural lash Removing outgrown extensions These steps will help ensure your new lashes will last as long as possible. However, it is up to YOU to cleanse your lashes daily, avoid wearing mascara for 24 hours prior to application and follow the correct aftercare Did you know... Oil on your lashes can harden over time and create a barrier between your natural lashes and the extensions, causing premature fall out. Once this occurs, the oil will continue to create a barrier until the natural lash falls and a new one grows in its place. Daily cleansing will prevent this build up barrier! Wearing mascara to your appointment WILL effect your retention. Think oils, barriers and residue. Please do not expect your lashes to last as long as they should Dead skin, makeup build up and debris is very hard to remove with one cleanse while your in salon. We know and see all Your lashes always tell the real story. Cleanse cleanse cleanse! 08.01.2022 Different Curls As we pride ourself in bespoke, customised lash sets, we offer numerous different types of curls (as well as thicknesses, lengths and dimensions) Pictured is an 8mm Classic extension in a B, C & D curl... Choosing the correct curl for a client is super important when enhancing ones features and following their natural shape. For example, to create an extremely natural set of extensions on a mature client a lighter curl would be needed to used. A tighter curl is more noticeable with more surface being visible front on. Perfect for making them appear more noticeable. On delicate skin this can look harsh and have the opposite effect on enhancing natural beauty. As goes with different eye shapes, such as deep set, hooded eyes, wide and narrow eyes etc. There are many more curls out there but this is a short example of some of the most popular and the use for them and the importance of a technician utilising different curls to suit the client
