10.01.2022 When a problem arises, how do you overcome it? If you have a new goal, how do you work towards it? We often look at buying a new exercise bike or expensive treadmill to make sure we are working toward our weight loss goal, or buy a fancy blender to keep up with the new fro fruit and vegetable smoothie trend. But sometimes just using what we have is better than finding a new way to deal with the same problem. Consider the fundamentals.... Are you already in a routine of using the free footpaths outside your house to keep up an exercise routine? Are you routinely doing exercises at home? If not, then consider that the new bike or treadmill will probably be another item to store in the garage for the next collection. Why not use your current blender to make the fruit and vegetable smoothies and get into a routine of using that before buying a new one? Many people will answer these questions with a but... Such as, but I cant go out because its too hot/cold/dark. Or but Ive done reading and this new juicer does the job differently. Heres my but: if you arent already in a routine of doing the desired task, then you may find that this routine of not doing will continue. So what can we do? Why not look at what already works, then adapt from there.
