10.01.2022 Spring is in the air. If you are one of those people who hibernate in winter, now is the time to get your trusty set of wheels out of the shed and get it ready to ride. Grab a friend and head off on your favourite bike path or into the bush on a trail or two. A few tips that may help in your preparation. Pump up the tyres makes your ride feel so much better... Polish the frame - slips through the air faster than a cruddy one! Or maybe that’s just mind over matter??? Check the brakes are working you WILL want to stop at some stage Check your spare tube isn’t perished no good finding this out in the middle of your ride If you are not confident doing this yourself, head to your local bike shop and get the experts to do it for you. AND, last but certainly not least, Throw in some loose change for the coffee shop stop. (Or if you’re a weight weeny, use a note instead of coins) Remember, it doesn’t matter whether you are on the latest and greatest or the old faithful, whether you are just going down the street or on an epic adventure, just get on it and ride!
