06.01.2022 @dimorrisseyauthor has done it again! My Short Review: Rating: ... The story is set in both Sydney & Bali, and makes a great summer, beach read. Grace finds herself in a marriage that is falling apart. Her husband, Lawrence just doesn’t seem to be the man she married- Master manipulator but seen as Superman to everyone else! Together they have a beautiful daughter, Daisy. Grace needs to try and support herself, and takes on a work assignment promoting a Bali Hotel. Now here is where I fell in-love with Di Morrissey writing!! The rich history and research that went into this book, made me feel like I was right in Bali. (Really helps when we have international travel bans ) I did feel frustrated with Grace, after all, she’s a strong working professional, but was like play-dough in Lawrence’ hands. Lawrence’s character was so well written that if I ever meet a Lawrence, we might have problems This book made me reflect on all the wonderful women present in my life. Those women I lean on, in times of need
